Q. Why do I need to scan a part in Color? When should I consider scanning a part instead of creating it?

A.
- When you need to obtain an exact 3D represenation of a real object and there is no access to the CAD Files (Pieces of Art, Artifacts, Scaled-Down Mock-Ups, Body Parts).
- When it is quicker to scan parts than to re-create them (especially complex objects).
- When it is quicker to scan a part in color than to wrap a 2D texture on an existing 3D Model.
